BMK-20 (B26) review
After making the video de-burred and cleaned, polished the spring ends, preloaded a bit, was still easy to close without a spring compressor, string after 10 unrecorded test-shots:
Filed the trigger pin, punched it out and touched up the corner of the trigger housing using a blueing pen.
Bought a tuning kit
Delrin top hat and delrin spring guide.
Clipped the spring to 34 coils, compressed and polished the spring end.
Shot a few strings, checked the spring and preloaded a bit and here's the result:
At the moment 3 washers before the tophat and a 10mm delrin springguide extension (not in the pics).
I'll preload it a bit less soon, looking for 14 fpe using Superdomes.
The replacement trigger is very smooth and crisp. Well built rifle. Compared to the tuned XS19 I have (Gamo 220/440 - Crosman Quest clone) this one feels better built.
The finish and quality is excellent.
The scope groove has holes to pin the scope mount. The one in the pic above was creeping towards me a bit, the one below is on it's way and should stay in place.
An obvious question could be "why invest in a Chinese springer, why not buy the original HW95/Beeman R9?"
The answer is simple: I'm not rich and like to tinker with air rifles.
