Last night I browsed through old German Gate threads. In one, mcoulter presented a 2-inch group at 100 yards, using his D48 .22 cal and Exact Heavies. Awesome shooting and post, illustrating the capabilities of Diana sidelevers, even without recoil-reduction.
One ounce heavier on the 460. About five on a 48. None of the three are light weights. The sliding breech guns have more efficient transfer ports, being inline. Cataract surgery can, indeed, correct vision, but comes with the occasional downside. I had a choice between distance or reading in my right eye, so opted for distance. As a result, all of my nice iron sighted guns became fuzz balls, lol. Now I have to use a peep or very low powered readers to see them.
Red Feather, please explain to me the transfer port differences between the 48-52 and the 350, I don't understand. Thanks, steve
