The accuracy between the 2 is very different. JSB's 13.73's are just more accurate . B.S. pellets are not horrible , & will shoot as well as most shooters can shoot. That sounds silly, but it is the truth. When you get the heavier pellets, you may see that you need to adjust the sight a tad, due to their heavier weight & slower speed , or you can just mentally compensate for it. I go through a LOT of pellets for my Sheridans & don't have any trouble finding them . Just don't wait til you are out & then look online for them. Put some tins in your cart & pre-order. Your order will get filled when their shipment comes in.that's why the current Sheridan pellets from Crosman are all I buy / shoot in my gun.I have found them plenty accurate and certainly as accurate as i could ever shoot at 25yds with a peep sight, they're inexpensive too.

They've been discontinued for a few years. There are no suppliers online that have them.

They seem to shoot ok for me, but I haven't done any serious target shooting yet. I don't shoot for groups anyway, as long as I can achieve 1" at 25 yards I am good. I just plink and do small game hunting. Thanks for replying.
Have you seen the ridiculous prices on the big auction site for those " Trash Can Pellets ?"
Quote from: 19Sheridan57 on January 12, 2022, 07:17:00 AM Have you seen the ridiculous prices on the big auction site for those " Trash Can Pellets ?"You mean the sellers that want $35-$50 just for the empty yellow box?? And god forbid it actually has the original pellets in it since that seems to at least double the price.
The old " trash can " Sheridan cylindrical pellets were not the best in terms of accuracy. When I was a kid my friend got a whole case of these pellets from his grandfather who bought the contents of an old sporting goods store from a storage auction, not knowing my dad had a Sheridan the whole case of those plastic yellow boxes went to my other friend who had a blue streak.Even if they weren't as good as the pellets I buy today I sure would love to get a lifetime supply of .20's for free.

It piqued my interest, so I did some looking around on the web for accuracy testing. The original cylndricals were all there was when I picked up my first Streak (in '77) and I never did bother to see how it would do on paper. One thing that I do remember well was that I could consistently hit things with the Sheridan that I couldn't with the 180. Tom Gaylord did some testing. With some different pellets and and velocities. He got some very interesting results with his '78 Blue Streak. The originals weren't as bad as you'd think. Particularly when you consider what Crosman, Benjamin and others offered as pellets back in the day. The series is in four parts.Link to part one here - https://www.pyramydair.com/blog/2019/07/sheridan-blue-streak-part-1-2/Ride on,J~
If you do a search for the pellets on e bay . Look on the left column for “ Sold Listings,” & the prices you see marked in green, are the prices those items sold for.
