Sorry to hear of your troubles with it. ........ A newer one would not need the constant rebuilding - I have had mine for about eight years and run it about 225 hours or so and only have done one rebuild on it. It just works . . . which is probably how yours was years ago.I don't know which of the compressors out there best suits your needs, but I will be following along to learn for the sad day when my Shoebox eventually dies too (hopefully not for more than a decade from now, with my use and spare parts stash). From everything I read, while some of the current crop of "positioned below a dive compressor" compressors can fill tanks, none of them seems as robust as the Shoebox at that particular use.Good luck!
Hi Will,Do you have any contacts or friends in the welding gas business? If so, a 6000 psi nitrogen setup could be an option for you.Taso

If and when my F-10 gives up the ghost, maybe before that actually happens. I will replace it with one of these, https://www.altaros.cz/en/compressors/57-altaros-compressor-booster-unit-sheet-metal-cover.html Roach Creek just recently went that route.
I think I responded to the OP on another FORUM but…I have an F10 now.Whatever compressor the OP chooses I hope he can assure a good supply of replacement parts..The world is changing..
