So im powder burner gun guy. I had a mod 95 in .22 cal. It shot good but i got bored with it quick, mostly because the lack of power. Picked up a synthetic stocked spring piston mod125 in .25cal from field supply. Stock is cheap but for a 200 dollar rifle its not bad, bluing has some blemishes from sitting in the plastic bag they come in. Scope is cheap, i thought it was junk at first but after breaking in rifle it seems to be holding zero. Rifle took about 300 shots to break in and quit dieseling, im at about 450 now. The more i shoot it the more i like it. It is shooting there brand 25gr pellets at an avg of 720fps. I am able to hit pop cans first shot at 10-50yards.hits my 22lr spinner targets with athority. Basicly as close as i can get to a 22 rifle( 22 cb caps) as i can get. It does wear ya out though ,im 6-1 200lbs and after about 50 shots i get wobbly on my support arm when shooting off hand. All in all im happy with my purchase

Sounds good! If the stock holds up (the Hatsan plastic stocks crack at a substantial rate), and you have a supply of replacement springs and seals, your 125 may be a long-term go-to springer. And as far as power goes, there's only a small handful of spring-powered guns in the H125 .25 cal bracket. Some people hunt coyotes and smaller wild pigs with these!

Sounds like you got a good one! Be aware that Hatsan saves money by using cheap screws. Be extra careful tightening stuff up and you will be all right.

Hi Carl
I have a 125 in .25, and I also appreciate that it is the rough equivalent of a .22 CB cap.
Mine especially likes JSB 25.4 domes as many rifles do. You should try some in yours. I get over 740 fps with them. I expect a bit more once my rifle is better broken in.
My rifle isnt as tough to cock as I had imagined it would be, and I have wondered if a better spring might help it. That said, I like how mine performs and I won't mess with it unless I have some issue.
As for scopes, if yours is holding up - ENJOY IT. These guns are scope eaters. You'll need something like an Air Max when you replace whats on it. I may put a 2-7 AirMax on mine.
