Post by: Nomadic Pirate on February 08, 2011, 09:51:02 PM
I did a bit more work rounding the forestock and now she feels real comfortable, resprayed her and finished with Polyurethane

Did you ever get this tuned or LDCed?

Yes Dust, she is tuned By Will Piatt, she shoots the 71gr roundball at 1000 fps, I can put 13-14 shots from 3000 psi in the same rugged hole from 30 yards, no change in POI, this is one fantastic gun indeed,......LDCs are not for Hawaii

Manny are ya gonna get a shoebox compressor? I am thinking about it. I have had good luck with my cheap o'le Benji 3 stage pump. I have replaced a few o rings and kept it lubed up with 30 weight oil as was told to by the man who built the pump at Sun Optic's. I think a compressor would work out great for ya on filling a pony bottle when ya are slaying all those piggys when ya are out on the hunt...

no Dave, don't think I'll go for the shoebox compressor, ..This baby gets 13-14 shots at the same POI from 3000 psi, ...I'll never need that many shots, ever :)  I only fill her to 175 BAR now when I go hunting, don't even need to fill her up  :)

I know what ya mean don't need a whole lot of shots when hunting. No need to waste air or ammo right.

But what is the car? The  blue one. Looks like it could be a late 60s-early 70s Chevy Nova.
But, it also looks like it could be a late 60s Impala/Caprice, or a mid to late 60s Ford Falcon.
Not enough visible to determine for sure.
