Years ago at the Roanoke airgun show Bob Spielvogel put on a display of airguns that "Bubba". "repaired' or "improved". It was one of the high lights of the show. For every airgun that Bubba repairs just makes the rest more rare and expensive. For years I have improved guns in my collection by changing parts. I would get a new gun with a better stock, exchange it with mine and sell the left over gun. A good friend always gave me the business over doing this. He said it was only right to keep the gun "original" with the parts it came with.Bottom line To each his own.
Guys, it's all just stuff. Not a one of us is taking a single bb with us when we die.I'd make a blaster from an L2A2 any day of the year! I hear they can't hit anything though.
