I've seen some mods among our own members right here, including some of my own, that make me cringe.It may not be right in your world and yet perfectly acceptable in theirs..I see some vehicles driving up and down the roads that have a much greater value than any airgun and the things some people do to them are beyond belief.

That’s why I like mods that are unseen and can be undone. They really sad part is when they are done they will try to sell it and ask stupid money thinking they have somehow increased its appeal and/or value somehow

I understand the OP's dismay, but not everyone has the same sense of value or attachment. I'm also a serial-tinkerer and a compulsive $)((#-polisher from way back, so I also understand the (often mistaken) belief that, 'I can make this better'. The person doing the modification/transformation may also have not had an overabundance of resources. They may also have been 10 years old- you never know.
