So it turns out the best metal receivers were made from June 85 - March 87. Those receivers are wide port no billboard. If your wanting to upgrade plastic to metal those are the ones you want to target. Any metal receivers after June 85 will have the wide loading port and are preferable but the ones in the date range provided will not have the warning billboard cast into the left receiver.
