Well, you aren't the first to report those stocks cracking in that same location. Mine is not cracked... yet.
Did you mean that those white seals are new, compared to the red / orange seals? The white ones are oldies, and the orange ones are newer.
Years ago, I picked up a Webley Valuemax .20 for something like $99. It was loud, had a violent shot cycle, and didn't produce the fps that others' VMXs were getting. I figured it needed a new piston seal and lube tune, at the least. It went into the closet and sat there until yesterday.I installed a new Hatsan red piston seal (not one of the new white ones), deburred the cylinder and lubed everything up nicely. It still has a pretty nasty shot cycle and I have not broke out the chronograph to test its velocity numbers yet. What I did notice is that the stock is cracked above each of the fore end screws. i remember reading that this rifle's action was basically a Hatsan Striker and it would fit in a Striker stock. My VMX has the two-piece cocking arm with roller. Can someone tell me with certainty which Hatsan stock the Valumax would drop into? Thanks very much for any information,Bob
Sounds like a good candidate for a cool custom camo paint job.

Been there,,, done that ! My VMX stock broke at the front screw within 100 shots, too. I bought a Striker stock & it fit perfectly, but I think that I remember reading that there were 2 different VMX designs, & one required the new wood stock to be altered. My VMX required a solid hold, too. You might have read a post I made about giving up on the artillery hold with it. A couple of years ago, I sent it off to be tuned & am liking it much better. It is quieter, the trigger is better, shots more accurately, & less TWANGE !!
Seems like there were differences in the cocking arms , but not sure. I think some people were able to modify the Stryker stock to fit.
