Those are some nice looking pistols. Of the pumpers, the Sheridan was the best design, IMO, more robust, larger tube, heavier pump linkage, pump cup. Probably why Benjamin discontinued the 132 et al after they bought Sheridan. Downside, maybe, is it was a bit bulkier.
You've got a couple of really nice pistols there, was your Benjamin refinished ?
I can't say the model 357 is best pistol Crosman has ever made, but it struck the right balance of economy and theres a reason they've been making this action for about 40 years at this point.Mine here is a 1986 example, sort of a modern classic.Next to the 2240 the 357 ( vigilante I guess now ) is probably the only co2 pistol Crosman makes today that is worth being resealed down the line.

Shoots good. I need to compare it to the 8 inch barrel on my Triple Threat. Bought some 'broke parts only' guns and ended up with a couple of 6" Python barrel. One is a smoth bore bb barell with '1357 BB' on the side. A 4" 357 barrel. Painted a couple of extra Vigilante grips flat white and brown. Fun guns.

Great thread David! Just posting now so I find it when I get home to add pics of my own.
I think the ubiquitous post-war Diana pistols are rather underrated, especially the earlier ones. This model 5 with wood grip/frame, cut-down breech jaws, tapered barrel, and very nice adjustable trigger is a nicely-balanced beauty that is a lot of fun to shoot.
