Marco seriously cool congrats! Brett congrats on the light upgrade. So glad I got rid of the old 6ft bulbs I had in my shop years ago. One busted and cut my finger nearly to the bone and I still have the scar. I had low hanging limbs above my shop and home that were fixing to start scraping the shingles so I climbed a ladder onto my roof and cut all the limbs with a heavy pole saw then used the blower to clean the roof off. Wore me out in the blazing heat and humidity but the place looks way better now and my arms will have gained a little more strength. Tomorrow I'll rest up.

Her upbringing with her own air rifles shined- her shooting ability with a rifle about sized for her that she never even shot before. She only only agreed to shoot one shot, but got real comfortable with it. She spent at least 5 bucks worth. Just awesome. That's great John! It's fun when the kids like to shoot with dad. I like long range (100+) shooting with 22lr and especially shorts. It's like shooting air rifles with the delay of the bullet hitting the target but with more power and range. I'm sure I would enjoy shooting the big stuff at longer range but I never sought a range with long distances. 100-200 yards was just never that fun with centrrfire for me. As I get older and have been shooting airguns since 2007, the big stuff doesn't get me excited like it did when I was 15 and I got my 7mm mag. Air power and backyard sniping is my game these days when I get a chance.....You start out young plinking with your dad at short range with low power stuff. As you get older the power and range goes up. For me it was service rifle competition with M1A at 200 yards offhand, 300 yards sitting and 600 yards prone (iron sights). Then I got a lot older and the range is going back down. Nowadays, I'll be darned if I'm going to walk more than 50 yards to set up or take down a target. It's mostly 50 ft and 10M with .22s and even more often with .177 pellets. I'm OK with it. I've had my days and my fun.If I had my own range and ammo was less expensive I would shoot more firearms. It just isn't convenient. I got into airguns when our oldest kids were little. I felt guilty going to the range and leaving my wife with babies and toddlers at home while I played so I bought a Gamo break barrel to shoot at home and scratch that trigger itch. Obviously it stuck with me because here I am today. I bought a pistol last year and fired one shot through it in the backyard. It was too loud so I put it away. That is the only round that has been fired through it. I have little to no desire to join a local range. I don't want to drive an hour to the shooting pit to get there then wonder what kind of other shooters I am going to be around. I haven't had any issues at the pit myself but I have heard the stories from others that have. I'm sort of paranoid like that and I kind of take over calling the range. Others seemed to appreciated that but I feel funny being that guy that's in charge. I do it for my own safety. I'd rather avoid it so I do. It's been nearly a year since going out there. However, after saying all this I really do want to take the 22lr rifles and pistols out for some fun. Like I said, I really wish I could have my own firearms range. I'm on two acres here at home and that's near perfect for airgunning...

I'm on two acres here at home and that's near perfect for airgunning...The walk down range has always been special to me. As a kid we had 19 acres and I had a .22lr bolt action. And then my days in the Army, and now on my home range. I really do enjoy it. In between shot groups or whenever. By myself, just appreciating things in my mind or thinking about the shot(s). Or, talking with my shooting partner. Especially, my little shooting partner. I don’t visit public ranges for those same reasons. I have a hundred meters, but I’m seriously considering connecting more land to mine, it’d be nice to have 300 meters at home. I’m also keeping my eyes peeled for a tract of land with some flat terrain I might buy for 500-1000 meters.
Went to the barn and robbed 5 power receptacles off the walls that weren't being used. Tomorrow I plan to rewired them into strategic locations in the Red Shed. I need to eliminate some of the extension cords I have running all over in there.
Went and spent time with Dad...
Chicken breasts and rice. Best thing for a sick dog.
