I'm pretty sure my favorite scope is the Bushnell Trophy 4-12x40 Adjustable Objective scope... not sure of the exact model number (newer one has a box that says 73-4124, but the picture on the box does not match the actual scope), but it looks like this one that I have on my FWB-124D... that's some pretty myrtle wood on there from Jim Maccari.
I also have one on my .22 R1-TK with JM power kit that I have had for many years now.
Just bought a used one on ebay for a .20 HW-77K that's been sitting in my gunsafe without a scope for several years... I transplanted whatever I had to something else... and decided it really needs one.
Don't think Bushnell makes this model any longer, but it was always highly recommended for springers !
Not sure how the new models compare, but would be interested to hear.

I have Bushnell 4-12x40 Trophy SF DOA600 that I really like. If it had a mil-dot reticle, it would be perfect. I'd like to try the Bushnell Engage 4-12x40, since it looks pretty much like the Trophy but with a better reticle.
I also really like a Leupold 3-9x33EFR that I had upgraded to the LR dot reticle.
I have a Burris Timberline 4.5-14x32 BDC on my 77k. It seems to have a hint of spherical aberration, but it fits the gun well.
Have fun!

Yeah, if the old Trophy had a mil-dot reticle, it would be pretty close to perfect.
The Leupold EFR 3-9x was my first airgun scope, and it is a favorite... moved it around to various air rifles over the years, and it now sits on my Hy-Score 810M recoiless match air rifle... that is probably my favorite air rifle to just relax and shoot... soothes my nerves really well ! :)
I do like the extra 12X focusing power... and the under 13 inche scope length always helps too.
I was intrigued by the Timberline, and should just get one and try it out... seem a lot of guys don't like the long eye relief ?

So far my favorite is the Sun TAC IV 6-24 X 50 AO but I'm open to suggestions.

Hawke Airmax.....I have 2 of the 3-9x40's and 3 of the 4-12x40's
-
I'll add a "+1" to the Hawke Airmax. I am very happy with the ones I have (several).
Tight groups,
Bob

Another Hawke Airmax fan here. I also really like the Nikon EFR 3-9x40AO. The extra mag is nice on the Hawke, but the glass is better on the Nikon.

The Vortex Crossfire II 6-18x44AO BDC is another fine scope to consider if you like high magnification in a smaller form factor. I have one on my HW50S, and it's a great combo. You can literally shoot the wings of a gnat with that setup. The FOV is a little narrow for hunting, but it's a great scope for target shooting and plinking. Great glass for the money.
The eye relief is strangely long on the Burris. I had to mount much more forward than usual.
I've really come to appreciate side focus. It seems Bushnell has the lightest airgun rated offerings outside of the new Bug Buster.

So you have 2 of them huh. Seen your review on amazon

For low powered springers (Diana 24, CZ631) I really like my Bushnell AR22.

Swfa 10 or 12 power
-
Mamba Lite with the SCB reticle. Best reticle ever, IMHO. ;)

Another vote for Hawke Airmax Scopes

I didn't much like the Airmax. I do love my sidewinder for field target. My favorite general use scope is the Nikon EFR 3-9x40. I wish the reticle had some holdover aim points, but it is an amazing scope for under $200.

Ok this is a throwback but I still liked those old Wallyworld Centerpoint 4-16x44 scopes they used to have. They were inexpensive, durable, had great warranty coverage, and worked really well on springers. But the real advantage was being like $55 when I was buying them in quantity as I had to scope so many impulse purchases. Yeah not as nice as Hawkes, Nikons, etc. but very good scope for the price.

The TX wears a 4.5-14X-42 Hawke Tactical Sidewinder
The D52 and R1 both wear 4-16X Hawke Endurance
-
New to the air rifle game but I picked up a Discovery VT-2 3-12x44 SF SFP with the Hawke reticle and seems to be working for me but then I haven't had it a month so I'm limited on just what I know I can do with it.

Lately I've been buying the CP 3-9x32 mildot without AO $54 and the Simmons 3-9x40 mildot 30mm tube without AO $49 at Walmart. Easy to find and easy to return. Seems to me the first thing to go when they break is AO. I've only returned one of the CP's. It was broke when I got it.

Hawke Airmax.....I have 2 of the 3-9x40's and 3 of the 4-12x40's
I have a couple of the airmax's on my pcp's as well. Good to see they would hold up to springers also.

If that's the Nikon target scope I heard it's a great scope.

The new Airmax scopes were designed and built expressly for spring piston air rifles. The Vantage series scopes are only rated for 12fpe or less, everything else they make is magnum springer rated.
