I just recently got a Diana 460 magnum from Krale (they have excellent service by the way). I bought and installed the Vortek PG4 kit and installed it last evening along with a Vortek piston seal. It made it quieter and smoother to shoot no question. If I wouldn’t have had a chronograph I would have declared it was slower after I installed the kit because it was quieter.

Not sure why it gained better with the heavier pellets but that seems to be the case.
Here’s the target I sighted it in with the last 5 shots at 35 yards. Not great but for what I do it’s fine.

It will take a few shots to settle in.
Could take 25-200 shots depending on how tight the piston seal is before you really know what you got. You may loose or gain some fps. But the shot cycle will usually gets smoother.

As Frank said there will be change over time. The spring will settle in and set itself and the piston seal will wear in to the compression tube. All the other parts will wear in to match each other. First you go through the break in stage and later things start to wear out. Congratulations on having dismantled the gun to the level or replacing the spring. Eventually you'll want to replace the breech seal. Ask before you start as the disassembly is not obvious.
