Question from a Flatlander

Let me preface with this by saying I hate the Bears, and the Packers are in my top three favorite teams (no joke).

I live in a townhouse and can only shoot indoors. This Godforsaken state I live in does not even allow plinking on any public land. This made me think to look north.
I'm only about 45 mins to an hour from the border. Does anyone know of a spot I can legally bring my wife to do some plinking not to far over the border? 12FPE is my most powerful gun so no big bores  or anything. The best ways to get across the border are either Route 12 or Rt. 90 with 12 being the quickest.

I used to have a friend that rented a townhouse in Williams Bay and used to shoot .22LR and shotguns there every  weekend, but he moved to Rhode Island.

Thanks Tony. I looks like just over an hour. That club looks pretty nice too. I was kind of hoping there was just some public land to shoot/plink a bit for free but the range fees aren't too bad there (money is tight here).

Yeah, they don't let you plink or target shoot out here on most public lands. A rare few have public ranges, but they also have fees.
