I have and older Career 707 ll with a non threaded barrel

Wanting to use a moderator. With a non threaded barrel it’s a no go. Do I have to hunt down a threaded barrel or does some one know a better way? The gun is in excellent condition. Must be a safe queen but I want to use it and at least be able to site it in in the back yard.

Get a non-threaded moderator.  They are a tight fit with a grub screw, usually.  I don’t know where you get one, maybe get ahold of one of the makers and see if they’ll make one for you.

Those older, non-threaded Career barrels were thought to be much more accurate, and with a wider variety of pellets.  Something about the threading process loosening the choke.  If you replace it, let me know as I may be interested in buying the old, non-threaded one.

I had one with the Alan Zasdny mod on it. I believe he  cuts off a small portion end from barrel and the mod goes under the front site and had 2 grub screws to hold it on. Like a fool I sold it but hope that helps.

     Your reply’s have me thinking about leaving this gun as it is now. It is in such nice shape I really don’t want to mod it in any way except to fill it. It has the original fill fitting that you have to place it barrel down and push to some male type fitting, that I don’t have. Put in one of pyramid airs quick disconnect fitting and it works and holds air. Will have to go to the range to site it in.
     Hope the old barrel is as good as some say. Thanks for your reply’s

Take it to a machine shop and have it threaded. Shouldn't cost too much. Just don't get it threaded in the same pitch as firearm moderators; that's where ATF can get a little cranky.
