Stipple textured my wood stock Benji 392

Some years ago I slimmed and re-contoured my Benjamin 392 because the stock felt oversized and, dare I say, kind of "bloated" in my hands. Like an SKS. Since slimming to suit, the rifle handles smoothly and quickly for me. The Williams aperture sight is wonderful too. Fast natural-feeling shots.
I learned recently on my Xisico XS46U underlever .22 how straightforward stippling can be with a rotary tool and spherical burr. My choice is my Foredom SR flex shaft tool, but a Dremel-type tool would work well too.
Below are snapshots of the results on my Benji. I used a Kutzall 1/4 inch spherical fine cut rotary burr, drawing the outline around my grips both left hand and right hand and chose a random stipple approach. I've seen patterned stippling that's beautiful also, and hope to soon teach myself that on my carved cherry, walnut and maple cooking spoons and utensils to add visual interest.
Great fun and rewarding satisfaction ornamenting my works.

Thank you! I encourage everyone to explore wood crafting and in particularly, wood carving. The versatility of a rotary carving tool for me really opens up nice things. This stippling is a pretty good example and I hope to only get better. I envision learning to carve borders to define the stippling. Lightening bolts wrapping around forearms. Just so many possibilities.
