This pumper just arrived at the my stables over the weekend. Pretty hard to find Smith & Wesson Model 77A , .22 cal. I have been keeping an eye out for one of these in very nice condition for a few years. These were made in the 1970's & are a well made rifle. Cocks by dropping the lever downward , then you pump it up to about 18 strokes. Standard .22 pellets push 720-750fps, so it has plenty of power. A GREAT plus was getting the original owner's manual.
I did some more pumping, shooting, & picture taking , yesterday. I had to scrounge around to find any .22 pellets at my house. For some reason, they all seem to be .20 ! LOLSWEET shooting rifle. BTW ,,, If anyone needs a copy of the manual, let me know , & I will scan some.
I want to do that, too, but I just have a tin of mixed pellets & am unsure about their weight. I does not sound as powerful with 8 pumps as a Sheridan does . BUT, will check.
