barrel shrouds

can you make barrel shrouds from pvc and what is the best way to mount shrouds.
Also are shrouds with baffles more effective than those without.

I just made a PVC shroud for my QB78 uainf 1 inch pvc.  I made a tapered mount from birch doweling.  It is late tonight,  but tomorrow i will take a photo and post it.

What are the legal issues of shrouds. If they cant b removed are they legal.
