Diana 48 vs 52 Question

Here's an example of a 48 (with aftermarket butt pad) with 48/52 markings.

The checkered stock makes it a 52.

The comb and the checkering, plus a 1" longer stock are the ONLY things that separate a 52 from a 48. So, given just a glimpse of the stock is grounds to determine the gun as a 52.

Not my gun but I’ll ask. DanD that’s what I thought, checkering = 52. Just wanted to be sure I hadn’t told him wrong.
