I blame you guys for all the good reviews of the 50S. Ordered one in .177 from Krale. I’m going to put a Hawke 2-7 AO on it . What height rings/mount do you suggest? I’m thinking medium. Again, you guys forced me into it. "dang" you! :)

Good choice. ;D  Medium or low should work with that scope.  I would recommend checking your cheek weld first.  Whereever you eye lines up should be the right scope height.
Mine loves the JSB/AA 8.44's, hope your does too....

How do these generally perform out to 50yds?

I've had mine a couple of weeks now, nice rifle. The first session shooting it was not sure if I was going to like it but it is breaking in quite nicely.
