TX200 vs HW97 thoughts from owners of each?

(1/5) > >>

Skychief:
For those that have owned both rifles, please tell us of each rifles strengths and weaknesses.  Which do you prefer for however you use it (FT, bench, hunting, etc)?

Thanks and best regards!

Toxylon:
I think this exact question was discussed here no earlier than last mid-summer, at most. A search is your friend, or in this case, simply browsing through the topics from the past six months.

DanD:
B3 or go home.

RonC808:
Would love to own both one day. Along with a few others to enjoy the differences and compare shot cycles.

Frank in Fairfield:
The Weihrauch rifles preceded the TX.
I have shot my TX about 42,000 times.
I have never shot the 97.
I do know this.
The cocking arm latching system on the 97 is far better and, if you are not careful, the arm on the TX will drop away and fall down without your knowledge.
When you touch off the rifle, it is something you will never forget.
I hear there is a magnetic latching system available for the TX.
That would be good.
