Red Grandis Stocks?

I dug out a slab to see how it was gonna go.
The Grandis is hard as a rock and VERY dense
I had to cross curt in 4 passes with the radial arm saw. but the table saw rips it fairly well.

some of the grain doesn't like the planer, but smooths out when belt sanded.
It IS going to be hard on tools........
