I finally got my Hawke Panorama scope today and am loving it. It is amazingly clear and precise. My only question is, how do you turn on the illumination? When I turn the dial on the left, I can't see any illumination. The owners manual said that in broad daylight the lower settings may be hard to see, but I can't see any at all. Maybe the battery isn't installed? If so, how do you install a battery? Any pictures would be appreciated! Thanks!
Great to see guys who can fix stuff. On small areas of aluminum filed shiny, I just use a black sharpie. The area of that scope ring is big, and very visible and will look a little off sharpied. This stuff is available many places locally.https://www.midwayusa.com/product/707229/birchwood-casey-aluminum-black-metal-touch-up
