Another rat taken with the FX DRS at 50 yards!



The sun was to my back and the rat was in the shadows and really hard to see.  I had to adjust the exposure quite a bit while processing the video so it could even be seen!  In the evening when the sun is at that angle, it's really hard to see the rats when they are at the feed station.  Shooting them first thing in the morning is easier, but during the day gets the best results!  Now, if I could just convince the rats their film debut would be much better if they showed themselves between around 10 am to 3 pm!

Thank you Harry!  It seems to be that time of the year, I'm getting a pretty steady stream of the little critters coming through!  The one plus of shooting at this time in the evening is having the bright sun reflect off the back of the pellet so you can see it as it makes it's mark!
