I was exposed to a lot of S**T.. and you know what?
I signed on the dotted line to allow it when I enlisted as we all did.
Right or wrong, I chose to serve my country. I am now seeing the ramifications, but I am not regretful...
Some of our brothers never came home... think about that.

Oh I knew what I was getting into. I served in Afghanistan, same with my father. I carried casket containing a good friend of mine onto a herc. I had a buddy shot and killed a month before losing 6 friends. Trust me I think about it every day. Just saying that no matter what country you served in. Sadly the VA is no good. VAC made my buddy who lost both his legs in a IED attack, prove they're not gonna grow back. VAC gave benifits to a convicted cop killer, because his father was a serving member.
Sorry I came off harsh. But at 38 I often get told I'm not a Vet. I have not worn my medal since I got out in 2013. As I dont get the same respect as a young vet. I fought VAC for 10 years, for simple thing like a medical pension.
