I had one resealed by Dave Gunter twenty years ago. It still holds gas perfectly. I shoot it about once a year and enjoy it every time. I do not know how he resealed it.
I had one that I that I tried to reseal.I didn't have too much trouble with the piercing pin.The exhaust seal was a lot harder.I finally found some urethane that worked - for a while.I finally gave up and got rid of it.If I hadn't lost my patience I would have looked for some harder urethane.Cheers
Yes there is - but I cant quite remember for sureIt may have involved setting it in place first, then using a binders clip to hold it until I was ready to add the left clamshell
