Back Room / Re: So if you didn't do anything airgun related what did you do today?« Last post by Rabbit\Squirrel Killer on Today at 12:30:17 PM »I was trimming a shrub with my brand new 24" battery hedge trimmer and I fell off the ladder. I was on the 3rd step and the ground wasn't level but having worked off of ladders for many years I thought I would be alright. Wrong. I see you tried to save it from damage, were you successful? If so, good save! You're right you could have ended up with a body part broken so just being sore is pretty good. 2
Back Room / Re: Books.« Last post by splitbeing on Today at 12:20:56 PM »Speaking of Epicurean philosophers, Hemingway was known to dabble in that tradition. If memory serves (memory is a funny thing), his father may have been a staunch Epicurean.
Picking up a copy of Shogun from the library today or tomorrow to read yet again. My buddy who I've read it with a few times recently gave me a present: an autographed photo frommthe actor who played Rodriguez in the original tv rendition, which I will also be picking up from the library yet again. 3

Crosman-Benjamin Air Gun Gate / Re: Legacy 362 ?« Last post by avator on Today at 12:07:56 PM »Yep, if I remember it's the rear screw. The bolt has to be removed to get to it. And yes, it is a better design so pellets don't snag in the screw hole. The downside is that the hammer needs to have a notch in it to clear the screw.

Back Room / Re: Good morning! Are you up yet? What's your plans for today?« Last post by avator on Today at 11:57:43 AM »Morning and Happy Birthday John.. guess I didn't see it yesterday.
My day has already begun.... I removed the fuel tank on the Husqvarna lawn tractor and flushed it out. I found the issue. There is a string that is supposed to connect to the fuel cap to keep you from losing the cap. It had come loose and was in the bottom of the tank and would restrict fuel flow. I got that out and put a new inline filter on it. I must have knocked the belt off when I put it away the other day so I put that back on. Next I hung a shelf on the wall under the North Range shooting shack. This is for odds and ends (targets, paint and such) and it also holds a 12 can mini fridge. Then I set up the range for some BB gun shooting today. |
