Yeah well, I survived. It wasn't so much the confined space as it was the positioning of a shoulder that has nothing holding it together. When it was over my shoulder had to be put back into socket. I'd much prefer not having to do any of this.
Thanks Marty..The interesting thing for me was when the Doc said I would have full range of motion immediately after the surgery. Of course I'll be quite sore and need the PT but it will be much different than the limitations I now have. There is no rotation what so ever right now. I have to lift my left arm with my right hand to swab my ear... for example.
Bill all kidding aside good luck with the surgery heal well and feel better speedily.

Betty Lou will be there to make sure the nurses mistreat me properly.You know.. as I sit here and think about it.. there are many folks, even in our circle here, who are facing much more difficulties than mine. This is far from life threatening. Just trying to get as close as I can to full function of my left arm which has been something less for many years.
