Title: Daisy 200
Post by: Rimrock on August 05, 2017, 04:40:52 PM
I just picked this one up. It is in pristine condition. Looks new and I don't think it has ever been shot. The box is kinda shopworn. The BB box has not been opened and the CO2 box contains all four unused cylinders. The CO2 shown has not been used. I need some help in placing it's age and somewhat of a value.
I am having grief trying to post pictures. Photoflub is gone and I am trying to work with a new computer. Maybe this link will allow you to see the photos.

Thanks     https://rimrock.imgbb.com/

Go to the hosting site. Once you are there, each photo has info attached to it:

I've got the same one. Great shooter. Still have the box too in about the same condition as yours but the gun has many bb's and co2 cartridges though it. Was my first gun at about 7 or 8 years old back in the 60's. Although my father taught me respect for firearms so it is still in very good looking condition but not like new as yours is.

After not using the gun for probably 40 years or so I tried it and found the seal at cartridge leaks badly so unable to use it. Went searching for seal kit or someone who could repair it and kept being told no parts available/unable to repair. Found the "Daisy museum" website and they have a (hardly used) forum. Posted there asking for repairs and someone told me about someone else who worked for daisy and might be able to repair. I contacted him and he said he can fix but I have not yet sent it out. Actually it's packed up ready to go but either walk out of the house and forget to take it with me or take it and don't have time to stop at PO. Planning on getting it out this week.

Cobalt,  Thank you for the assist.
You're quite welcome. That's as close to new as any I've seen. Very nice example!

Anyone looking to get their CO2 200 repaired, contact Jimmie (http://forum.daisymuseum.com/search_results_posts.asp?SearchID=20170806024257&KW=jimmie). His email is unpublished so maybe fv22 can provide a way to contact him?

How did you and Jimmie hook up to make the arrangements and get shipping address/info, if I can ask?
