I rarely touch anything other rifles than Sheridans, but I did pick up this neat old Crosman 1400 a few weeks ago. Some oil, TLC, pumping, shooting & she's in better health !

Yea, I need to get me another of those old Crosman pumpers. I had a 140 and kinda miss that ugly mess. Mine didn't look as appealing to the eyes as yours does. Bend in the barrel, browned steel, areas of splintered wood, gouges, safety issues, pellet picky. Other than that she shot hard and straight. Much quieter compared to the Bens and Dans. Best part was I didn't care what happened to her. Bang into door frame, tip it over, run through some branches, dropping it on the counter. That freedom to not worry about the rifles condition in hand is very relieving.

Thanks buddy. I just recently sunk too much money into this addiction. QB, parts for QB, 342, TKO it never stops haha. I think I'm gonna wait until another 40 dollar Crosman clunker comes along on CL. Unless I get a nice lump of cash for my bday. The top of the want list though is a SS.
