I'm 58 years old and I got this for Christmas when I was probably 8 or 9 years old. I was working on my Benjamin Titan NP and was wondering about the breech not having a champher to make loading a pellet easier. I got out the little Slavia 618 to see what it's breech looks like and it does have a champher that allows the pellet to go past flush easier. Anyway, I looked on the Vintage Gate and was amazed to see several of these little rifles. As you can see I had to do some cobling on it when I was a boy since there was no internet to find parts. The trigger broke so I replaced it by soldering in a piece of a nail! I lost the rear sight so I made one out of a piece of wood. You had to be resourceful when you lived in rural SC. So after reading about some of these other projects I think I might have to rejuvenate this little one. Also does anyone have thoughts about the breech on that Titan?

I don't have any input on your titan breech, but thanks for posting pics of the Slavia.
Love the nail trigger! Kind of like folk art.
Your rifle looks a lot like my Daisy 220, I made a post, its a few posts below yours.

I have a CZ Slavia 631 and love it. Restored it after finding it at last years airgun show in CT. That's awesome that you've had it for all this time. They aren't bad to disasemble but if you don't have a spring compressor it's a bit of a bear. Good luck with it.

THe 618 are cool little rifles I have one in 177 an 22 cal the 177 cal does 370 fps with a dasiy wadcutter an the 619 22cal does 310 fps with a daisy 22cal wadcutter pretty accurate guns I can hit empty shootgun shell with them out to 20 yd,s pretty easy. The saliva,s have a leather piston seal so put some silcone oil down the breech hole an let sit barrel up for a day or two couple drops every 6 months will keep it lubed. If you haven,t lubed it before put 5-6 drops the first time.. The 618 is perfect shooting condtion should 400 fps. The wooded sight is great idea. thanks
