When I first got it it had a leak, seemed to be the pressure gauge so I removed it and put some Teflon tape on the brass threads. For good measure I put Teflon tape where the bleed valve and hose screw in as well. It's been nice and tight since. You'll get contacted by someone from 4 Uncles asking you if you are happy with the purchase or any problems. I've had a guy (one of the Uncles ?) send me a message twice thru Amazon asking me if I like the pump and do I have any problems. They seem genuinely concerned about customer satisfaction and their reputation. Should be good support if we ever need it, but the pump comes with a full kit of spare O-rings for when they are needed.A good cheap source of silicone grease, not oil, is Oatey Plumber's Faucet and Valve Grease. A 1 ounce tube at Home Depot's plumbing department was like $2.80. I'm sure you could find it at Lowe's, Ace or a plumbing supply store as well.is this the grease youre talking about? i checked it out and myself i would NOT use that!it says on the label petroleum based, and also says not for rubber or synthetic o-rings.

The otherday after getting 3 scopes mounted, i got the UO.25 sighted in at 15yards in 10 shots. Pressure Went from 2900 to 2000. Hitting to the right I had to adjust the scope far to the left, abit too far to like. So i went in and removed the scope and flipped the rings around. Remounted using a level mounted on the rail and a small level on the Cap. A few hours before refilling i had placed 6 drops of silicone oil in the air intake under the handle on the pump. This time running the pump to warm it up, alot smoother up and down action and abit more aircoming out of the hosedrain from each pump. Refilled the AG pressure to around 3100. I set the hammerspring to -1.75 turns out from closed. I had a few other things to get done, became dark out before i could sight in the scope. Then yesterday abit too windy. Today the 2 BRTriRailBarrelBands got in. These two are mounted at the rear against the stock followed by 2 BRBarrelbands. Running some CG numbers, 1.7" ScopeHeight, 900fps, 24.7gr, 15yard sightin, 1/2" high around 30 and on again at 43yard, .75 low at 50yard. Still carrying around 30FPE at 50. For now will run the Vortex 24.7gr these grouped good during the first sight in. , later time ill try the HNBH27.5gr A good hunting pellet. I need to add a few more pellet types to my inventory in .25. . Wonder how HN Slugs would do, .249, 28,32,34gr. I dont have any, but may just order some by spring if theyr still in stock by then... Well on a good day the UmarexOrigin .25 will be sighted in with the mounted CVL3-9x40mmAOMD.NVak
