I had a horrible experience with the dar gen2 I owned for a couple weeks. These (to me) looked very similar and is what kept me from ordering one. So far from my readings I’m super glad in my choice as I really liked the looks of them and almost pulled the trigger.

I had a regulator leak easily fixed then I had to bed the receiver area relieve wood from under the air tube, now it is great. I do not however have confidence in ordering a DAR Gen III. Took me about a year as well to get it right.
Amazing what happens when the striker is free to do it’s thing.

Keep it coming while I try to my wife over her fear of shooting PCP ha!I'm keeping mine for life so I am biased but I think you should pass on this generation of the MAX. Frankly, it was not properly vetted before being released.

Last shot string looked pretty darn good.
I don't get how this was not discovered during R&D.Seems pretty basic and quite obvious.

Pretty sure it's not an issue with just one single gun.I reckon I should just leave it alone... I don't plan to buy one at this point anyways...
Up to this point I haven’t seen anything that would be a deal breaker if I was considering getting one of these. At the price point, the pros appear to heavily outweigh the cons. I’m not hearing complaints about more serious issues like accuracy, consistency and reliability. Jmo,Dave
I just received my 3D printed plastic block and went over your install. Did I miss the part where you have to remove a set screw to install the block? Since my gun is already bent do I try to straighten first? I didn't get any instructions with block. Also do I need to degas gun prior to install? Thanks
Ok I got the instructions but am unable to open them. It says to search Google for a app to open it.
