Are Gen1 Mrod trigger groups still available from Crosman?
Ha...look at how much influence this site has on the airgun community! Probably getting tired of answering the same emails over and over again due to this thread lol.

I had heard that the Gen2 Mrod triggers are slightly different? How so?

I saw a picture somewhere from someone that ordered the wrong trigger group, looked like the only difference was the location of the bump on the sear... they swapped sears and were in business...

Location of actual trigger guard and blade is DIFFERENT between Gen 1 & Gen 2 assemblies !
How strange... If possible, could someone do a side-by-side comparison? I wonder then, if not using a Gen2 trigger guard, would swapping in a RAW trigger, w/old style sear work w/a Disco?

I wonder then, if not using a Gen2 trigger guard, would swapping in a RAW trigger, w/old style sear work w/a Disco? There was a recent thread about Mrod triggers on disco. I think there was pictures included in that thread of both versions. Bottom line the Gen II will not bolt to the disco tube. There is about a 1/2" difference in the screw locations. That is along with the sear difference. Also, mrod trigger guards are not available from crosman unless you buy the complete stock. Just buy the Gen 1 trigger pack (prior part number I posted) and can use the RAW trigger. You may need a spacer if you experience some sear drag, because the Mrod airtube is thicker than the disco. As far as trigger guard, will need to find aftermarket or make your own.
BTW will they work on gen2 if not I will have to cancel one.
Norm over at DiscosRUs has the needed spacer to get rid of the sear drag, and both DiscosRUs and RArms Innovations has a trigger guard solution, both are metal.

Those are the ones I know about, along with a challenger trigger guard. If you find others, please let us know.
While fiddling more with the recent Bottle-Rod conversion & was just about to dive in building another trick trigger blade so trigger finger was better positioned. Then it occurred to me that trigger blade that was replaced in my RAW TM-1000 was also the Theoben design same as the M-rod trigger group Huh ... dug around till finding the RAW / TM trigger blade setting then atop one another finding them identical in mount hole and adjustment screw locations. Setback obviously present too !* ONLY MODIFICATION REQUIRED is to ever so slight enlarge pivot hole from its current @ .118" to .125"Once done it gos into the trigger group adjusting identical to OEM trigger blade Its rearward position & curved finger contact feels Sooo much better too. Hopefully Martin at RAW can handle folks wanting some trigger blades .... Please don't have him shoot the messenger ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~UPDATE Martin at RAW has confirmed fit & need to ream or drill pivot to 1/8"Has no problem selling them to us either Cost at: $25.50 EACH + $6 shipping ( * Currently BLACK only available )See: https://www.rapidairweapons.com/xcart/product.php?productid=17748
