I love my Diana 350 magnum in .177-
Got it about 6 weeks ago-love it
I would love a .22 version-
Is the Ruger Air Magnum really a CLOSE COPY-clone of it?
Does it have the same ball bearing barrel lockup arrangement?
Does it come with the Globe sight? Ebay pictures show a blade type sight-with multiple blades-but maybe there are several versions?
Trigger decent?-not expecting it to be as finished as the Diana- 1/2 the price-but can it be polished to become as nice?
Thanks
Charlie
PS I have some made in China guns a B3 underlever- $20 30 years ago-shoots pretty good for $20-also a Crosman NP Phantom-lotta stiction from strut-otherwise ok
Daisy 880 and crosman 1322 1377 assembled in USA but parts probably sourced from china-so chinese air guns can be just fine

The RAM is a copy of the T05 350. They have fiber optic sights with no provision for mounting the target globe. I don't mind the T05 in mine. You could send the gun off to Mike at Flying Dragon for a tune and two screw trigger conversion. Search under Ruger Air Magnum and you will find a good two hour's worth of dope.

Thanks-so copied the "lawyer trigger' and no Globe front sight
But from what I have read- at least as powerful- as the Diana

A few weeks ago Flying Dragon was selling XS28's Same gun as the Ruger Magnum with .177 barrels and .22 barrels.

Look hard at the Flying Dragon XS-28 I believe it still has the front sight you seek. It is a very close clone of the Diana 350 but the trigger is a T05 clone not the T06. It can be improved if you're up to working on it. If you prefer, Mike Melick can do the work for a reasonable price.

The XS-28 hasn't been listed on Flying Dragon for about a week now. He must have sold out. Can't hurt to ask.
BTW, the T05 is not a "lawyer trigger".

Shoot that is EXACTLY what I am sorta looking for
I looked today-for the XS-28-on Flying Dragon-because I do want both calibers-.177 .22
He only had advertised 2 air rifles when I looked today-neither the XS-28
Is that combination both barrels commonly offered?
Seems like that would make sense for all manufacturers-but only a few lower end ones offer it-maybe crosman or Gamo-but I know have seen dual caliber setups offered
Not sure exactly where I heard the T05 described as LAWYER trigger and the T06 described as Gunsmiths trigger-saw it somewhere
I am not a good enough shot for it to matter-as long as it is not too CRUNCHY-I am ok
I don't mind my crosman 1322 1377 triggers(did put lighter springs on them-but...) they are not great-but OK for me with the lighter springs
thanks

The XS28 with a .177 and a .22 barrel that was offered by FD wasn't an intentional dual caliber. Both barrels came with the barrel block an cocking linkage.
The Beeman RS2 comes with both barrels that side in and out of the barrel block.
Beeman also has the 2016w. An over/under barrel .177/.22.
Beeman also made the QB57. A break down bull-pup springer side lever that came in.177 or .22. You could buy the other barrel.
The Mendoza RM2003 comes with both barrel. They slide in and out of a schoud like barrel. Mendoza made the same gun for Hammerli. An X2.
The XP120D single stroke air pistol (a clone of the P17/P3) comes with both barrels.
I happen to own all five of them. Mike ran out of the X28 with both barrels before I could get one.

If Mike doesn't have the XS-28 in stock you might ask if he has a .22 barrel for it in stock. It should be a drop in replacement for the Diana 350 barrel.

Tim Thomas
Thanks for the tips
I woiuld really like to have a .22 caliber barrel for my 350
So it would have the BALL BEARING lockup-just like the 350?
I would prefer to have another barrel-rather than another entire gun-closet full of air rifles already- B3 460 HW77 TX200 350 2 Daisy 880s N P Phantom
8 air rifles-
Thanks
