Gamo Rocket IGT GRTlll question?

They have this rifle for $99 on Gamo website. Will a GRTlll fit this rifle? I''m thinking slap a Tuna trigger in it and see what happens. Sale is only good for a few more days. Can any of you Gamo folks help me out with that info. before the sale expires? It I can put a GRTlll trigger in it, I might just bite.

If you check the info on the Gamo website I believe you'll find it uses the Gamo SAT trigger. That will require the GRT 4-G trigger.

This page showa it has a standard trigger
https://gamousa.com/product/rocket-igt-22-kit
. If that's true, the GRT-3 should work

uglymike,
I ordered one of the .22 Rocket IGT a few days ago. The 3 other Gamos ikheb have an adjustable trigger, after being adjusted they break nicely. Just hope the Rocket has an adjustable trigger. If not, the light weight, open sights are a good plus.
Said it before ill say it again.. should be fun.

The manual shows it has an adjustable trigger. The ad says it has a "standard trigger". The current Gamo standard trigger is not the one they were putting out when the GRT III was produced. The GRT III is unlikely to work with this rifle. You may like the current iteration of factory triggers and if not there is a replacement at charliedatuna.com but it is NOT the GRT III. Caveat emptor.

This one specifies the SAT
https://gamousa.com/product/raptor-whisper-177-caliber-break-barrel-air-rifle/
So that's why I thought the standard would be the old-style and not the SAT or CAT.
Hopefully someone will chime in that owns the gun in question.

I don't think Gamo makes any guns with metal triggers anymore, and the GRTIII only works on the steel trigger Gamos and clones of such.

Thanks for the replies folks. I'm going to try and contact Gamo tomorrow and ask, I'll get back to you with what transpires. Another question. If it is the old metal trigger, are these some new OLD rifles with +10 year old piston/breach seals?

Talked to GamoUSA, it has the standard Gamo trigger, not one of the "alphabet" triggers. My next question was if these were new OLD stock with +decades old breach and piston seals. They couldn't answer that one, I think I'll pass.
