Is there a break in time for BB guns such as the Red Ryder? When I first got mine, even with a scope at 20 feet, my groups were around 3" Now, 2000 BBs later, I am shooting groups of around an inch at the same distance. Is the gun getting better or am I just getting more used to it?

The MV may be a little more stable after shooting it that much but I believe you becoming more used to it is the biggest thing. It's about due for a couple drops of oil through the oil hole, just don't put it down the shot tube or the accuracy will go to heck until the oil is shot out of it.
