Rebuilt the Maurader again last night. It just did not feel right and was random as could be.I 'think' I found the issue, the exit hole on the moderator showed some signs of clipping so I drilled it out a little and the accuracy and consistency went up. Still did not feel right on the cocking. So I tore it down cleaned up the moly that was in there... what a mess... and turned the gas spring around so the larger body is in the piston so that the piston does not have to slide down over it. Feels a lot better less gritty and quite smooth. Discharges nicely.Havent done any target testing yet but crossing my fingers. That gun had turned into a wreck!
YAAAAAAYYYYY for confusion lets you know you're alive LOL
Today I finished this Carbine up for a customer
Second attempt to squirrel hunt without dumping the Nomad ll off in the driveway, yes, I had a senior moment Tuesday. Loaded up everything and left the compressor on top of my truck. Drove 2 hours to my cousin's place only to find the compressor did not come with me. Let's just say, does stroke, heart attack, my life just came to an end mean anything. Drove back home, pulled up to the gate and there it was sitting next to the garbage can. It had landed on its feet. There is no way anybody could have gotten to it being behind a locked gate and 4 dogs. So I knocked the dirt off the carrying case and took it inside to test it. I must be the luckiest air gunner on the planet, nothing was broke, bent, or rattling on it. It filled up and shut off like it was suppose to. I guess you can say it passed the accidental drop test from 7ft. up. I will try not to make a habit of it that's for sure.

That's a huge testimony to the ruggedness of the Nomad II! I have my eye on these, and like Giles, I am really impressed with the fact it comes with a carry bag!
