Please forgive me for posting this but I can't help myself. I bought a $43 break barrel (including shipping) on eBay mainly to take it apart. Like any self-respecting redneck, though, I took it to the back porch to shoot as soon as the oops truck brought it. It functioned in every respect except that part about pellets coming out of the muzzle. So no regrets about tearing this bad boy down. Best i can tell it is a B1, but it's smaller than I expected. Anyway, breech seal and piston seal are leather. The piston seal was dry rotted. Or else it came from a very sick cow. So I made one using a Tom Gaylord blog method. Cleaned all that grease out, put moly paste on spring and other metal to metal points, and soaked my new seal in olive oil. And I reassembled it. And it now shoots. Haven't run it on the chrony yet and haven't checked accuracy, but that saucy wench now .shoots. I
It's kind of a rite of passage to do this. So if there's a club, I'm eligible to join

Always a good feeling to transform a beater into a shooter.
Done more than one, myself.
Surprised how many new guns, from respected manufacturers need attention, due to poor QC.

B1's, B2's, B3's are fun, cheap guns to mess with. I've heard them called finished kits with un-finished parts. I've had a bunch of them. Still have a few. Pyramyd has a kit for the B2 for $9.95 with anew spring leather piston and several breach seals. Pat# PY-A-3453
