Some people are blessed to be able to shoot a springer so well. And a nicely tuned German pedigree version.
Well Dan,The beginning of your journey is good news ... she looks and shoots excellent .
Outstanding shooting--30 yards, with a 3/8 ctc!!!!!!Glad to hear that you're doing well with the newly acquired R9.ArchieBTW, I think I'm about to get past my Covid venture....
I mounted a UTG 3-12x44 SF MOA etched reticle on my R9 using BKL high mounts. I started today off shooting Air Arms Diabolo Field pellets 8.4 gr 4.52 and those seemed to be doing well. The I tried some H&N Field Target Trophy 8.64 gr 4.52 and they did great. I began sighting in my scope at 30 yards. It took a few shots to get POI to equal POA. After many, many 1" groups and larger and 200 hundred pellets later I finally managed a 3/8" five shot group at 30 yards. I probably will never be able to duplicate it.

Great shooting! I don’t blame you one bit stopping at 5, I’d have been scared to ruin 3 that close! How comfortable is the scope with high rings? Wonder if the scope shade would clear with medium rings? I know those scope covers are thick, though I love them - maybe mediums wouldn’t clear with the scope covers on?
