I bought the 34 from Numrich several months ago and couldn’t be happier. Shooting from a bench I’m getting 3/8-1/2 groups at 30 yards shooting H&N FTT 8.64 gr. That’s good enough for me, but the squirrels hate it.

Like put it in a box? Seemed like for made in usa it's up to 10%. That could mean unload it from a bulk container from china and box it for retail . Then that's called made in the usa. That craftsmanship on that ems in that picture and then the spelling errors got to make a guy wonder.I get it. You don’t like Diana products. Thanks so much for frequently reminding us.

I truly enjoy my 34 Classic in .177. I shoot dime sized groups at 30 yards from a strong rest. But now, having maybe 150 rounds through my gun and reading Hector's reply and link here, I'm worried I messed up with my 34. On receiving it new, I scoped it and began shooting. No cleaning except a dry patch pushed through with an aluminum rod. That's all the prep I ever read about to that time. Is there a way to know if I've damaged my beloved 34? Clean now and at what intervals? At the time, I knew nothing of sequential shoot-clean-shoot-clean breaking in. Oh too. I'd highly recommend grabbing a 34 Classic. I wish I felt a need for an identical twin to my beauty! And I paid $236 several years ago on sale, so $199 is great!Don
Don,No big deal. Often guns are shipped full of grease to prtect against rust while at sea. If you gun shoots so well without a cleaning, nevermind! However, when accuracy begins to wander, clean the barrel and reseason. -Y
