Pump prices are coming down....
I bought the YongHeng 110v for about $345, but this looks exactly like it and is really cheap at $270 shipped. I don't know if it comes with the water pump (for cooling), but those are very cheap and you could use a garden hose instead (with cool water from the tap going into the compressor, then draining out to the garden or elsewhere). I run mine until it hits 60 degrees C, then let it rest until I run it again (following manufacturer's recommendations).

Just be sure to plug it directly in the wall (without an extension cord) unless you use a very high amp extension cord suitable for a refridgerator.

I wouldn't buy anything but the Yong Heng myself, the other brands don't seem to be holding up well from what I've been seen in the multiple threads about them on this forum. I'll probably be using my hand pump through the winter again this year because I can't get my tanks filled during the winter anymore.

Absolutely agree. Several reports of front covers blowing off and at least one lower cylinder failure recently reported. Be careful with HPA. I use a small cooling tank that only holds about 2 to 2.5 gallons but I fill with ice and scoop out water to add ice as it melts. This has worked great for me.

I bought that same compressor & love it. It is a Venor just label with different name. I bought mine for $200 off Ebay.

We have a velvor and yong heng and both are having all kinds of problems if these were made in the USA they would be recalled. Junk all of them IMHO.

As others have said, this is a Vevor type. I have one-- got it for $194 or so on ebay, delivered in 3-4 days. Has worked well for me, however recently stopped filling above 2000 psi. Was able to easily fix it, however the parts for the top part of these Vevor/Mophorn aren't readily available. I may get a Lightning when this fails again-- or I may just buy a Yong Heng top end in parts and convert it to that. Anyway, in short that compressor has worked great for me (filled 3000psi scuba as well as 4500 6.8L CF tank, plus other smaller tanks) for maybe 12 hours on it, then cleaned and replaced a few orings and RVA'd one of the seals and it's been working great since.

Well I look at it as this. At $200 you can buy 5 of these compressors (free Shipping) for the price of one $1000 compressor.
I like something new every now & then (wink).

My Vevor is pretty much a t.u.r.d. I’ve already written it off.....lousy design.....it won’t last.....you’ve been warned.
It’s my belief, the design keeps changing because they don’t last, keep failing, so they try something else. And we keep rising to the bait and taking a chance and giving them a reason to do it. Its notbad enough that they fail, c.r.a.p. out but, the failures could actually be catastrophic and actually hurt someone, or worse!
