However since the scope base is plastic, over time it may deform. That said, it is a $35 pistol so go for it!! DaveYea I thought about that but really didn't want it messing with the scope or dot "zero" by using either of those two things for a pumping handle. Just curious as to what others have tried and or are still using on theirs.ThanksRayThere was this guy making slide extenders for the P17, that made cocking much easier especially with a scope: https://www.airgunforum.ca/forums/topic76499.html , but I'm not sure he's still in business. That's just too bad, he seemed to have good reviews.

With all respect to the OP, and not to redirect, but rather to keep this on topic, yet mention the above Zoraki, I've started a new thread on the HP-01.FWIW:https://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php?topic=183660.msg156095285#msg156095285Again, with all respect.

Bargain pistol scope on bargain pistol.
For a pistol that has an effective range of @ 75 feet or less .... WHY any optics
"I remember seeing something on the Internet where someone made some sort of extensions bolted to the sides of the upper lever that extended rearward and gave more cocking leverage. "I remember that too. I'll have to search for it.
Scope is Umarex RWS 1.7X20 that went bargain viral here after the P-17 bargain.
Basically a pair of flat metal brackets, and a piece of plastic or wood to fill the space between at the rear. I may just add that to my 11.5" barreled P-17 it is a bear to close, unless seated with the right leverage, or it likes to pinch clothing and things.
If you find it please post a link, TaterI'm considering the same thing and could use some adviceThanksEd

Heeeeeyyyyy. This thread reminds me.....I loaned my P17 to a co-worker to enable him and he really liked it. I haven't seen it for months!Guess that backfired... LOL!
