Has anyone tried these flex hones I know they have them in different sizes and grit.Wondering how they would work for cross hatching the compression tube of airguns.Seen them in 400 and 800 grit.

Flex Hones are extremely dangerous and should not be used in the compression chamber as they cut too deep and too fast even with low RPM.
They can be used in the action from the rear up to the slot just before the compression chamber but even there, be careful. They must be a fairly loose but full contact fit. They are too good and cut a lot out in a very short order.
In my opinion, I suggest that most people should not use them. I don't .... or I guess I should say I had various sizes but did not use them in compression chambers. I learned the hard way and it only took once.

yup and to add to that flex hones do not do a good job getting all the way to the face of the chamber which can and probably will leave you with a "neck" right in the very front of the chamber where the seal lives most of its life.... which can/will cause all kinds of fitment issues
