Title: Castoff springer stock?
Post by: David.Soliman on January 24, 2014, 12:56:56 PM
A castoff stock is a lot more comfortable to shoot, but how will if affect a springer's consistency?
Will it make it more hold-sensitive or less hold-sensitive?
I'm interested in hearing your thoughts/experiences on the topic. I have a gut feeling that it will make a springer more hold sensitive cause the recoil is now at an angle from the stock, maybe cause more strain on the stock itself.
But the recoil of the springer is in the opposite direction away from the butt-pad, so I am not sure how it would affect one without actually trying to shoot one or hear from someone with firsthand experience.
