A friend found this on Gizmodo. 900mph pingpong ball...yeah 1320 fps. There is some discussion of the speed and flow of the air.

That is wicked.  Creating a vacuum in front of our pellets is going to be a bit of a challenge ;)

Soooo..... In outer space, our PCP's are ultra sonic armor piercing beasts!  and they shoot really flat.
