Got a new AT44 valve...

So, after a little shipping snafu I got my AT44 H Class valve.
I took a few pictures, so if someone had curiosity... there ya go.
Main difference is how the valve stem spring is secured, it now has a screw-in cap. And the spring is STIFF, as in barely compressible by fingers.
Second main difference, valve body is made out of steel now, at least mine is. And with some bluing.
It is rough too, it will need a little polishing and a lot of deburring.
After the cleanup is done, I will test against an original brass valve (modded).. we'll see what the difference is. I hope it flows better. If the hammer can crack it open.
We'll see.

Where did you purchase the new valve? I would like to get one for my spare tube. The steel valve should be lighter in weight than the brass version.

From HatsanUsa... 50bucks..
But it is rough, had to deburr the stem to get it to hold air... I would honestly prefer brass...
