Looking on Google and their are many brands, types, etc.
I'm looking for a good, reliable gun vice for cleaning, and working on my air guns. In a couple of sentences can you tell me which brand you use/like, and why. Equally important, tell me which ones to stay clear from too.
Trying to get some ideas before I go on Amazon Prime and buy one.
Thanks

T2T
I have this rest, and it works very well for my Air guns and PB and pistols, also doubles as a cleaning rest etc.
When you get one, make sure it has the ears on the back to hold your rifle, on the rest,
also keeps the wind/pets from bumping into your shooting platform and having your weapon hitting the floor/ground.

It happened to me twice, both at the range and home, cost a replacement scope both times.
I also have this rest and works OK, but it sits too low for me to use when shooting from a bench platform etc.

Thanks, Tom

I have both of the above, great for clamping down and working on guns, also can be shot from ok. Those 2 pretty much are the top picks IMO for multi use.
I have the one below for mainly shooting but it does saddle the gun fine for light gun work too.
