Nice groups. Overall I like the AirTact offshoot (pun intended) of the Hatsan Striker/Edge format. The rifle is fairly easy to work on, responds well to a little work on the trigger and the action, and can be purchased as a refurb for under $50! Longevity of the new plastic bits aside, this is a bargain air rifle and fun to shoot when all the parts are working together like they should (from the factory!).

My first one (a cheap bar clamp with plastic ends) exploded/failed mid-tune. My second spring compressor worked fine over the last year, but was overbuilt and is now too bulky for my limited work space. Newest design will get posted in a few days either here or possibly WordPress again if the image sizes are large.Won't be anything really special. Just taking bits and pieces of other designs, using some cheap hardware available locally, applying basic woodworking skills, and customizing it to fit my space and needs.
